Chief Financial Officer, Anderson Holdings

David is Chief Financial Officer of Anderson Holdings, the investment holding company for the Anderson family. David oversees finance, accounting, treasury, investments, tax, risk management, legal, governance, M&A, and strategic financial initiatives for Anderson Holdings. David has over 20 years of financial, transactions, and operations experience, as a chief financial officer, investment banker, and institutional investor. He has extensive experience advising management teams and board directors of Fortune 500 and middle-market public and private companies, private equity firms, governments, and entrepreneurs on critical strategic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, company sales and divestitures, debt and equity financings, joint ventures, and restructurings. David has advised on over $100 billion of announced transactions, spanning a broad spectrum of industries, including consumer/retail, financial and business services, healthcare, media, real estate, and technology.

David started his career as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley, and later served as a Senior Vice President of Moelis & Co. and Managing Director of Greif & Co. David also served on the investment staff of Stanford Management Company, which manages Stanford University’s endowment and other investments (over $14 billion at that time). David has prior private equity investment experience for Moelis Capital Partners (NexPhase Capital). David was Chief Financial Officer of College Health Enterprises, including oversight of the founding family’s investment office. After serving on the Board, David was also Chief Financial Officer of Jewish Family Service LA and was recognized as “CFO of the Year” by the Los Angeles Business Journal (for nonprofits).

David holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science with Distinction and Honors from Stanford University, and an M.B.A. in Finance, Real Estate, and Entrepreneurship from UCLA Anderson School of Management, where he graduated as a Carter Fellow. David was previously honored for inclusion on the Los Angeles Business Journal’s “LA 500” list of the 500 Most Influential People in Los Angeles. David serves on the Boards of Jewish Family Service LA, Temple Isaiah, and Friars Charitable Foundation (Friars Club). David was born and raised in Los Angeles, where he lives with his wife and two children.
